BotBuyer Terms of Service

Status: Early access

Operator: Build Star Labs (Florida)

Governing law: State of Florida, USA

Domain: botbuyer.ai (BotBuyer PWA / site)

Contact: We don’t have a public contact channel open yet; see botbuyer.ai/contact.

Effective date: October 9, 2026

Note: These Terms are not legal advice to you. We do not claim licenses, insurance, live payment methods, or escrow that we do not have.

Early access

BotBuyer is in early access. Features may change, be limited, or be unavailable.

These Terms do not promise a full public launch, any particular level of usage, working escrow, or that every payment method is available.

Pricing: Any subscription or success fees will be disclosed before you pay. Planning figures that may appear in internal docs are not live public pricing. You will see any fees before you pay.

1. Agreement; acceptance; who can use

By accessing or using BotBuyer at botbuyer.ai (site, PWA, or related services we provide), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy (when published).

Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter a binding contract. If you use BotBuyer on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.

If you do not agree, do not use BotBuyer.

Parties. These Terms are between you and Build Star Labs (“BotBuyer,” “we,” “us”), operating BotBuyer at botbuyer.ai.

2. Service description (early access)

BotBuyer is a spend-gated AI buy-agent experience. In plain language, you may:

  • set a spend limit and purchase intent;
  • connect or reference a payment vault (processor-tokenized methods where available);
  • have the agent run searches for you and show you what it finds. Any spending is a separate step that stays within your limits and needs your separate yes.

Approval design (product lock): BotBuyer executes actions approved by humans. BotBuyer only does what you approve. Approving a search lets the agent look further into it and get more information. It does not buy anything, and it does not authorize spending. If a seller requires an account to go further, we create one only if needed. Spending is always a separate, explicit yes from the designated account holder. Auto-approve is OFF. BotBuyer is not an autonomous spender.

Early access. Features may be incomplete, experimental, or unavailable. Features or payment methods we describe as coming later are not promises. Category focus for current product commitments: software across channels first; domains may be an optional wedge; cars/real estate may open later and are not current service commitments.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time during early access.

3. Account; accuracy; credential security

You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated. You are responsible for:

  • safeguarding login credentials and devices;
  • all activity under your account unless you promptly notify us of unauthorized use;
  • ensuring only authorized people act on the account (including approvals).

We may require human gates such as captcha, 2FA, bank gates, and KYC when required. Failure to complete required gates may limit or block use.

4. Approvals, searches, and spend limits

  • A hard spend gate applies (product design includes a gate such as $1,000; exact configured limits may vary by account/settings).
  • Approving a search is not a purchase. When you approve a search, you let the agent get more information about it. If a seller needs an account to go further, we create one only if needed. Approving a search does not authorize any spending.
  • Spending is a separate yes. BotBuyer does not spend unless the designated account holder separately and explicitly approves that specific spend. Auto-approve remains OFF. BotBuyer executes human-approved actions only.
  • When you give that separate spend approval, you authorize use of your selected payment method only for that approved spend and within your applicable spend limit.
  • Circumventing spend gates, approval flows, or security controls is prohibited (see Acceptable use).

You remain responsible for reviewing the terms, amounts, merchants, and any licenses or titles before you approve any spend.

5. Payment vault and processors

Payment methods. We hope to support more payment methods over time over time. Do not assume a payment method is available unless the app shows it as available. We make no promise that any particular method will launch.

Third-party processors. Payments are handled via third-party processors (e.g., Stripe / Link when used). Processor terms and privacy policies apply to their processing.

No full PAN storage (intended design). Payment vault uses provider references/tokens. BotBuyer’s intended design is not to store raw PAN/CVC in application databases or logs.

No custodial balances (product lock). BotBuyer does not hold customer stored-value balances or custodial wallet float. The vault is for linking payment methods and paying at purchase (spend-through) via payment partners — not a BotBuyer account balance you preload and we hold.

Your responsibilities. You remain responsible for:

  • funding and maintaining valid payment methods;
  • charges you approve;
  • chargebacks, disputes, and processor rules;
  • taxes where applicable.

Escrow: Escrow is not available. BotBuyer is not your escrow agent.

Money-transmission / stored-value / MSB: These Terms do not claim BotBuyer is a bank, escrow agent, money transmitter, or MSB. BotBuyer’s locked model is spend-through with no custodial balances.

6. Fees

When a subscription and/or success / Closed fee is offered, fees will be disclosed before you pay (e.g., at signup or checkout). You will see any fees before you pay. Planned pricing is NOT live.

  • Planned or internal pricing ranges may change and are not a live public price commitment in these Terms.
  • No fee is owed under these Terms merely because a planning number was discussed internally or in product docs.
  • We do not present early-access use as paid-user traction or launch metrics.

7. Search results; merchants

  • Merchants/sellers are third parties. Unless BotBuyer expressly states otherwise for a specific offering, BotBuyer is not the seller of the goods, software, or services you buy.
  • Titles, licenses, and delivery come from the merchant/seller under their terms.
  • Refunds and returns are subject to merchant and/or processor rules; BotBuyer does not guarantee merchant refunds.
  • Search results and listings may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. A search result is not an offer from us and is not a purchase.

You are responsible for legality of the purchase in your jurisdiction and for compliance with export, sanctions, and acceptable-use rules.

8. Post-close operate agents

BotBuyer does not currently offer agents that operate software or services for you after a purchase. These Terms do not promise any such feature, or its performance, uptime, or outcomes.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use BotBuyer for unlawful purchases, fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or other illegal activity;
  • abuse the service, interfere with others, or attempt unauthorized access;
  • scrape or harvest data in violation of law or these Terms;
  • circumvent spend gates, approval requirements, KYC/captcha/2FA/bank gates, or security controls;
  • misrepresent identity, payment authority, or facts about a search or purchase;
  • use BotBuyer in a way that harms minors or violates others’ rights.

We may investigate and suspend or terminate access for violations.

10. AI / agent limitations

BotBuyer provides automated assistance. Agents can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or misaligned with your intent.

  • Human approval is required before spend under current design.
  • You must review the terms (price, merchant, licenses, cancellation, refunds) before you approve any spend.
  • BotBuyer is not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.
  • Because BotBuyer is in early access, reliability and coverage are not guaranteed.

11. Disclaimers

AS IS / AS AVAILABLE. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BotBuyer and related materials are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that search results or agent outputs will meet your expectations or be accurate.

Not a bank; not escrow; not a money transmitter (unless licensed — do not claim). BotBuyer is a software experience facilitating spend-gated purchasing workflows via third parties. These Terms do not claim that BotBuyer is a bank, escrow agent, money transmitter, or licensed MSB.

Some jurisdictions disallow certain disclaimers; in those places, disclaimers apply to the fullest extent allowed.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • BotBuyer and its operators, officers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, or goodwill;
  • BotBuyer’s aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service or these Terms will be limited to the amounts you paid to BotBuyer for the service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited (e.g., certain gross negligence/willful misconduct rules).

13. Indemnity (user)

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BotBuyer and Build Star Labs, and their personnel, from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

  • your use of BotBuyer;
  • spend you approve;
  • your violation of these Terms or law;
  • your dispute with a merchant, processor, or third party.

14. Termination / suspension

We may suspend or terminate access immediately for operational reasons, security risk, suspected fraud, acceptable-use violations, failed KYC/gates, or legal requirements. You may stop using BotBuyer at any time.

Provisions that by nature should survive (disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, governing law, etc.) survive termination.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

16. Disputes

These Terms do not set a venue, arbitration, or court rule beyond the governing-law clause above.

17. Changes; contact; entire agreement

Changes. We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will post a notice on the site. Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance where permitted.

Contact. We don’t have a public contact channel open yet; see botbuyer.ai/contact.

Entire agreement. These Terms (plus Privacy Policy and any in-product disclosures that expressly supplement them, including fee disclosures at checkout when offered) are the entire agreement regarding BotBuyer and supersede prior conflicting understandings on the same subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. No waiver is implied by failure to enforce.

Order of precedence for product honesty. Marketing or app copy that conflicts with the early-access limits in these Terms does not override these Terms.
